HP Sauce
Am I blind or is there no file/image... On another topic does VW 2009 allow 3D snaps to centers ? I don't believe so. Quote Link to comment
inukcad
you're not blind, I'm bit of a luddite when it comes to forums. I attached the files with file manager. Is that the way it should be done ? Quote Link to comment
HP Sauce
Yeah you're on the right track. If you click "EDIT" below your first post, what does it say next to File Manager ("File Manager (Total Files: 0)" for example). In File Manager: You need to select the file you want via Choose File, then click Add File to upload it. Repeat until you've uploaded all files, then click "Done adding files". I'd assume you missed the Add File bit. Edited January 16, 2009 by highpass Quote Link to comment
inukcad
Worked this time, not sure what happened. Quote Link to comment
HP Sauce
I can't explain why, but in 2009 the file renders properly in Final Quality RW. In 2008 it looks the same as your attached pic, so it's not your graphics card. Edit: Managed to get it to render correctly in 08 by doing the following (probably not what you'd like though):- Select problematic extrude Convert to Polygons - Hidden Line mode Convert to 3D poly ...Renders fine. Obviously no thickness to it, though. Edited January 16, 2009 by highpass Quote Link to comment
inukcad
Thanks for looking into it. I should have 09 next week. Hopefully the 3D component is a little less unwieldy. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
