mar schrammeyer Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 G'day can anyone help me was annotating a VP & VW crashed from then on it is very slow to start up again it hangs on loading the workspace, trashed the workspaces & reinstalled those I used on my laptop no dice, wanted to trash my prefs but could not find them ? If I log in as admin & start up VW it seems fine, any suggestions thank you Quote Link to comment
islandmon Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Check that Error Output file ... take a look at the Console Crash Log ? Since it works fine from Admin ... this appears to be a User Pref corruption issue Quote Link to comment

cad@sggsa Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 Hi all Had a similar problem. Yesterday VW was lagging when opening the exporting dialog box, but worked fine. This morning VW opened upto where it gives the imahe name and crashes. So I sent an error report and established that I need to upgrade the Quicktime, which I am currently doing(downloading QT 7) Whar I do not know is where exactly to save this upgrade in order to work. cad@sggsa Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 OK so I downloaded the new version of QT 7.55.90.70 On selecting to open VW it warned me that the newer version may not worked with the version that was shippid and will need to install ver.7.1 It is still giving the an error....
