JeffUA Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hello all...I currently use Vectorworks 12.5, and I have been receiving some files Exported from version 2008 that have some really weird problems with the Label Legends. All the legends look ok until i try to update some info, and then they all disappear. When i go Edit The Layout in the Label Legend Manager, I see that all the fields have moved to screwy locations with screwy formats. For example, the COLOR field has moved 20 ft to the left of the symbol and 8 ft up, and is also 4 times as long as it needs to be, with both the left and right sides padded with white space. This happens to all the fields (although some of them don't have the white space added) and happens with every file i receive Exported with 2008. Can anyone help me out? Thanks. Quote Link to comment

Has the user origin been moved to some distance point? Have the document units been changed? What font was used? I've found a few fonts that VW does not like and when they get mapped to a new font you get all kinds of odd text. Quote Link to comment
