ffonics
the model disappears when zooming in under annotation mode, and gives me an "done" dialog button [similar to "exit group" button]. However, this button does not function at all. see pic of before after Quote Link to comment
ffonics
also, not sure if the culprit is the upgrade to SP2, but didn't notice this under SP1 or before. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Wow. You mean Viewport, not worksheet, right? If the button doesn't function, how do you get out of it? michaelk Quote Link to comment
islandmon
This could be a Layer or Viewport Class visibility issue. Quote Link to comment
ffonics
sorry for the delay, VP in annotation mode placed on a worksheet. My workaround has been to zoom by using "C" [window zoom method] and stay at that level until I exit the VP annotation. If it does disappear, then I have to either "undo" until Im out of anno mode or restart the program. This is almost feels like the programmers had fun with a glitch and put a "done" button that does nothing but confuse and befuddle. Quote Link to comment
RickS - Lab 8
This just happened to me (Using 2011 SP4). Left looking at a blank screen with a "Done" Button that did nothing. Was in a design layer not in a view port or sheet layer. It even said that the Design Layer i was in was "Mystery Object+" The only way out was Undo. Could not replicate it again and not sure why it happened?? Quote Link to comment
shorter
One of my clients has recently found a 'mystery object' in one of their VW2011 SP4 files. They think they were editing a mirrored, or rotated Space Object at the time. Does that sound familiar? Neither they nor I are able to repeat it at will. Quote Link to comment
