Catmansound
If you export a file containing worksheet to a dwg format, the worksheet is not exported, does anybody have any knowledge of this? Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
In VW2009 (and maybe 2008), worksheet do export to DWG, but only as static text and lines not as a worksheet (since they don't exist in AutoCAD.) For VW12, check out Julian Carr's Worksheet on Drawing that does a similar Text and Line conversion. www.ozcad.com.au Quote Link to comment

0 Catmansound
Good point, sorry 'bout that. we're working with Windows XP and Vectorworks 2009. (my system has 2 gigs of memory and a 256 nVidia graphics card, the others have 4 gigs and 512 nVidia cards) Ok, thought it was something we were doing, so I experimented and here's what I found. We just installed 2009 and have been opening files from the previous version, 12.5. (I skipped 2008). As it turns out, must be something in the way that worksheets were created in 12.5 or earlier that prevents the worksheet from being converted properly into 2009 and then exported to dwg. Turns out we have a few worksheets on our construction documents that we'll remake from scratch, will take a little time, but such is life. Sould take care of the problem. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Anthony Quote Link to comment
0 Ray Libby
I wonder if you can update the worksheets. Try Tools menu > Utilities > Update Plug-in Objects. I would do this on a backup copy. Quote Link to comment
