summerellg
I have come across a problem when I export a drawing to Autocad R.14 from Vectorworks 8.5 regarding dash styles. The drawing contains numerous dash styles both default and newly created. When I view the dwg file on our PC running Autocad all the dash styles display as solid continuous lines. Upon interrogating the lines in autocad the dash styles are listed but apparently unavailable. Any thoughts on the above greatly appreciated. Guest
VW9 has some fixes for dashed lines export and import, including some scale adjustments to make our dash sizes more like what AutoCAD expects so they won't display as continuous in menus. ------------------ -- John Williams Core Technologies, NNA jodawi@nemets chek.net Quote Link to comment
miles
There has always been a problem exporting fill patterns to ACad also. Fills are lost and the only thing that appears when opened in ACad is the boundry line of the object that had the fill. This is a major problem for us. Quote Link to comment
