j.christ
How do you roundup decimal places within a worksheet? Using 'round' works down...and Using 'int' removes decimal places. I want to be able to roundup from 0.01 to 1.0 or 2.2 to 3 etc etc. Can someone help? Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
Try: =ROUND(A1+0.499) This will round 3.001 up to 4, but 3.0001 will round down to 3. If you want more precision add more 9's after the 4. It's okay to have more 9's than you need, but having less will yield incorrect results. HTH, Raymond Quote Link to comment
j.christ
The manuals just don't explain simplicity. Cheers for that. Quote Link to comment
panta rhei
No, they don't, do they! But don't blame the Manuels: they are from Barcelona. Raymond's not. (Raymond: I'm embarrassed. I'm supposed to be pretty good in maths at the conceptual level. The ifs and buts I was working on... Ah well!) Quote Link to comment
Francisco J. D. Rogers
And if do you want set for example: 10.2453300123 to 10.25? Round cuts ALL DECIMALS and set to zero. Quote Link to comment
bcd
Multiply by 100 Add 0.5 Round Divide by 100 Quote Link to comment
NickS
HI guys, depending on your needs, you could also format the cells/columns/rows to be numbers with X amount of decimal places displayed. .. Will keep any calculations more accurate but not make the Worksheet a PITA to read at the same time Quote Link to comment
