C W
A coworker who is running Landmark has been encountering an ongoing issue where his viewports become deactivated with apparently no action on his part. He said he'll notice it on occasion and then reactivate it, but the problem is that the viewports apperarntly don't show when he exports the sheet layers if they are not activated. Is this is setting issue? Has anyone experienced this before? To be honest, I've NEVER activated or deactivated a viewport before so have know idea where to begin. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
C W
Is this maybe just a class issue? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
It could very well be class related. Since each viewport is an object it has a class. If that class ends up set to invisible or grey, then the viewport will be also. I recommend that all viewports (as well as groups and probably the top level of symbols) always be left in the None class and the None class always be left as visible. Makes it much easier to troubleshoot visibility issues. Pat Quote Link to comment

Ray Libby
What type of layer, Design Layer or Sheet Layer? Quote Link to comment
tsdesign
HI design layer thanks Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
It's more than likely the viewport is in a class that is not active. Try setting View menu>Class Options to Show/Snap/Modify Others and see if you can select it. If that doesn't work try the layer options. Quote Link to comment

Ray Libby
If I'm looking at what I think you may be talking about, that's the page boundary, not a viewport. Go to File menu>Page Setup and uncheck Show page boundary. You are also in Top veiw so your 3D grid is showing. Change your view to Top/Plan and that will go away. Quote Link to comment
