daph
hiya, some help would really be appreciated. this is probably really obvious - im designing a 3 storey building on vectorworks, and i cant figure out how to raise the upper floors - when i turn on the axo views, all my floors a squished into the ground floor so it looks like a 1 storey building. how do i raise them up? thanks Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
It sounds as if the Layer Z heights for each of your floors is the same. For the model to show correctly it needs to replicate reality and each of the floor layers needs to have a Z height which represents its relative location in the project. For example if your ground floor is at 0 m and the floor to floor heights are 3m then: Ground floor: Layer Z= 0m and delta Z = 3m. First floor: Layer Z= 3m and delta Z = 3m. Second floor Layer Z= 6m and delta Z = 3m. Quote Link to comment
