I have installed vectorworks 2009 in a school environment, while logged in as a local user, Admin on Mac OS X 10.4.11.
Vectorworks will open and work perfectly while i am logged in as Admin or logged in with a teachers account. However when i am logged in with a Student account i double click on the vectorworks icon it will flash up on the toolbar for 2 seconds then disappear.
I have looked into this and it seems that when logged in as a student vectorworks isn't creating the preference file or the (vectorworks\2009) folder. I can not figure out while though seems to me as a permission problem, however i have been through all the folders to make sure that they have Read&Write access.
Can anyone think of any other ideas or tell me what i'm doing wrong
