Siradrad
I am using 09, It seems like some of the options disappear randomly when inserting a window from the resource browser, after multiple moves the window seems to loose its flip and set position option in the object info palette. What causes these options to disappear so I know what I am doing wrong. Also in my elevated hidden line render mode it seems like there are some ghost lines left over from the perimeter of the plug in object, that extend beyond the trim of the window. When I re-render they change a little but I can never quite get them to be gone? Attached is a picture of the blasted lines. Quote Link to comment
Damon Design
I've also seen those blasted lines in my hidden line elevation views occasionally. It is frustrating because they can look like elements you (the designer) wishes to accurately convey to the construction of the building potentially leading to confusion. Mostly it just looks kind of messy. I think this is a bug. Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Tad, good call, it is a bug. Chris, please be so kind as to submit this at: http://www.nemetschek.net/support/bugsubmit.php Thanks, Quote Link to comment
Siradrad
Hmm that is a bummer seems like there are a lot of bugs kind of annoying. Is 08 sp3 less buggy. Quote Link to comment
Damon Design
Helios if you are on a Mac and have not updated to 08 sp3 do so now because it is far more stable. You should include this information in your signature as it is very helpful for us to try to ascertain what may be going on. Quote Link to comment
Siradrad
OK will do thank you. Quote Link to comment
Damon Design
Speaking of blasted lines. The draw edges option on Open GL is very messy. http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/7172/picture2td8.png I've also noticed that when one is working with windows in walls in elevation views i.e. moving them with the 3D reshape tool, the interactive highlighting seems to show ghosted walls with peaks per the window geometry-this seems to be related I surmise. What's up with this? Quote Link to comment
doughd
IMO, stick with 08 SP3! We upgraded to 2009, and I wish we hadn't now. I wish NNA would fix the tools that are currently full of bugs instead of creating more tools and more bugs!! Quote Link to comment
Siradrad
yuck very messy I sure hope this gets cleaned up. Good luck Tad, Don't want to show those renderings to your clients! Quote Link to comment
