Thom C
Hi Everyone, I'm new here and new to vectorworks. I have picked it up fairly well but of course with a bit of software like this you can not teach your self everything with out some help or training materials. The place I have got stuck at at the moment is placing symbols in the model. For example electrical socket outlets and while we are on the subject I would like to be able to place a door symbol in to my models to. Can any one suggest any good online training material as I didn't come across anything great myself. My focus is 2D architectural drawings as I use Sketchup for all my 3D work. Thanks Thom Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Hi Thom, do you want to learn how to create symbols and place them, or do you simply want to know how to place symbols? Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Thom, If you are using VW Architect, open the Architect workspace and see that there are electrical symbol tools in the MEP toolset that automatically create 2D objects for you regarding lighting, switching, power and communications.
