3D TEXTURING--SWEEPS

I made a symbol of a bronze post using a few sweeps. When I render it, only the sweeps that are rectangular prisms show up. They're all in the same class. Why do some sweeps show up and some not? I've checked to make sure the 2d polyline that creates the sweep is closed in each instance. Help!

Take a look, I extruded the bigger sweep as separate components and did the sweep the way I normally do, as individual objects, no center line with a locus for the center of the sweep. The other smaller sweep was odd for some reason, the profile for the sweep didn't match the sweep itself so I redrew it, again not using a close object. I'm not real sure why yours weren't working.
