sfatelier
I've input the coordinates by the grid method for a site and when I try to create the site model, there is a mysterious pyramid over the locus and I can't get rid of it. What gives? Thanks! Vectorworks 2008 Mac Edited September 3, 2008 by sfatelier Quote Link to comment
sfatelier
Ok, I found out what the problem was. There was a tiny object over the site plan that I couldn't see at first but finally found it in the side view and deleted it and then the site model corrected itself. Now the challenge is to show it as a solid. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Is the problem making the model appear solid in 3d views? Select the site model, use flyover or other tools to set the view, then in the OIP choose a 3d display mode such as 3d Triangles. In the OIP Render tab you can add/change texture to the site model surface. Render the drawing. Click Update button in the OIP to display the rendered (solid) site model. Find more about working with DTM in the Site Model areas of the VW help. It is often helpful to create a very simple site model in a new drawing and experiment on that. -B Edited September 6, 2008 by Benson Shaw Quote Link to comment
