brudgers
Is it possible to establish a heirarchy of parametric constraints? If so, how does one establish the order? The seemingly simple project I am trying to solve is to have four walls controlled by a rectangle. The goal is to be able to resize the rectangle and have the bounding walls resize automatically. IanH
I found that parametric constraints were a bit flaky. I did some reading up on the subject and learned that one used them at their peril. Quote Link to comment
mmyoung
Good dynamic constraints would go a long way towards making real machine design functionality. It's not easy to implement well, though. The new release of Shark FX has a very good implementation, with dynamics (you can move the bits around in real time), but you soon discover that even when it works perfectly, the logic center in your left hemisphere may have betrayed you somewhere. Takes a lot of thought to set it up correctly. The one in VW is not very useful. Quote Link to comment
