Draw your plan, manually cut out the area you want to blow up (a toilet room, for example), and paste it into another layer of the same scale. With that layer and your main plan layer visible, they appear as 1 plan, but the cut-out layer can be linked to a layer with a larger scale, be referenced, or whatever. If you want the enlarged plan in a different file, reference the cut-out layer into an invisible layer, and layer link it to a larger scale layer. Quote Link to comment
