wvancampen
In plan, I want to show (cut) window jambs with a darker fill and the sill below lighter (as is graphically conventional). But the fill I give to the window applies equally to all parts. I know in Window OIP>Settings...>View>Special Classes you can customize the attributes for different parts, but as far as I know this only applies to 3D, not 2D (why??). The same goes for doors (and their thresholds). This capability to do this would seem to be basic.....is there something I'm missing? Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
In the Door (or Window) Settings palette, under the VIEW tab try "Use Part Line Styles" to adjust your line weights for individual parts. The Attributes Palette for doors and windows should be set up thus: ? Fill Style-by Class, ? Fill Color-by Class, ? Pen Style-SOLID (NOT by Class), ? Pen Color-by Class ? Thickness (Line Weight)-NOT by Class ? These settings will allow the line weight set up in ?Use Part Line Styles? dialog to show correctly in sheet layers ? don?t forget to bump up ?Wall Lines? line weight for RCP (Controlled by Ceiling-Main Class) Quote Link to comment
