Sky
I have many of the same doors and would like the door schedule to reflect the quantity of all doors with the same ID. I placed the doors and edited the settings so that all doors that are alike have the same ID. However, the door schedule shows each door individually. Perhaps there was a better way to do this to achieve a consolidated door schedule. I am open to all suggestions. Please help! Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Edit the Worksheet and select a row in the database section of the worksheet. Drag the SUM title to the column that you want to summerize on. Pat Quote Link to comment
Sky
Ohh... okay - that must be a good first step. I've done that and got them all consolidated together. Now, one other question (sorry to be so ignorant) but how do I get it to show the quantity and the correct size of the doors - it seems to have added them all up! Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
For the quantity put in an additional column with a formula of =count For the size, pretend we put the =count formula in cell b2 =door.width/b2 will give the width. There are a number of threads floating around regarding these issues. Do an Advanced Search on my posts (use name Pat Stanford). I think I have answered both those questions in the last month (maybe 2). Pat Quote Link to comment
Sky
A really big, big thank you. I looked at your previous posts, experimented around, and seem to be able to do what I need. Now I just have to organize myself and pull it together. Thank you very much!!! Quote Link to comment
