Gerrit
One way would be to create a wall style. I assume you familiar with setting up a worksheet and enter formula's ? Quote Link to comment
digitalcarbon
ok but what about pipe that goes vertical? Quote Link to comment
Gerrit
I'd say try a Column - these objects are attached to a record, so it should be relatively easy to put up a worksheet datarow. In case you're familiar with VectorScripting, writing a PIO for this purpose isn't too hard either. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
VW allows polyline calculation which provides the length of 2d pipe runs as "=Perim" , and the same polyline converted to a NURBS curve for ExtrudeAlongPath pipe runs the path length is available for calculation via "=Length( )". digitalcarbon
ok thanks ill give it a try. i assume that i model the pipe so i can see the mass in section cuts and then add the NURBS line inside the pipe mass, turn off w/ class, to get info to a worksheet. is that correct?
