mralistair Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 We need to reinstall a copy of vectorworks 12.5 that was lost because of a mac self destruct problem.. but we don't seem to have a note of the serial number, it's one of our older machines and was done before we kept records. we still have the dongle though, is there a way to find out the serial number from the dongle? IanH Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 The digits on the dongle refer to the last 6 digits of the serial number. So you can match the dongle to a serial number but cannot deduce the whole serial number from the dongle. Unfortunately, the lettering on the dongle is all to easy to rub off. Quote Link to comment
