billtheia
I can't seem to get door thresholds to obscure the edges of slabs below them in 2d. I've tried overriding class attributes and using "part" classes but no matter what I do, the thresholds show with no fill. And no, it's not the ceiling main class that's showing, it's the slab which is on a separate layer that is stacked below the walls/doors. Can anyone out there help? Thanks. See attached pic. RonMan
Looks like you have the Ceiling-Main (I think that is the name) class turned on. Use that only for reflected ceilings. RonMan Quote Link to comment

Christiaan
Have you got 'draw wall lines' checked for that door in the object info palette? Or no wall break maybe? Quote Link to comment
billtheia
Nope. The lines go away when I turn off the slab layer. If I zoom in, I can see that the threshold has no fill - I can see the little blue grid through it. Quote Link to comment
gmm18
Try assigning a "Style" class to the threshold, then set the fill to solid for that style class, then be sure that that style class is set to "visible." Quote Link to comment
billtheia
...I've tried overriding class attributes and using "part" classes but no matter what I do, the thresholds show with no fill... It looks like the threshold will ONLY display with no fill in 2d. I started a new, blank drawing, drew a wall, inserted a door, and turned the threshold on - it shows with no fill. I set the threshold to use Style-1 and made sure that the class used solid fill - it shows with no fill. See attached pic and .vwx file. Quote Link to comment
maarten.
when you ungroup that door, you'll see that the poly that will cover the "ground" is in the class "Door-Main". So normally when you'll give that class a fill, everything would be OK. But as you'll notice, that poly doesn't use the class attribute as filling. It's hard coded to use no filling... Don't know if it was meant to be this way, or that it is a bug? Quote Link to comment
billtheia
NNA might call it an "undocumented feature" but I'd call it a bug. Quote Link to comment
aqualiscious
Has there been any resolution to this bug? Quote Link to comment
Amelia S
It works for me in 2014. Edited August 15, 2014 by Amelia S Quote Link to comment
