jdhamilton Posted June 22, 2008 Share Posted June 22, 2008 I'm working through the training cd for Spotlight 2008 from Resolve software. When I get to the step to duplicate the symbol "Table - Round 60" 8s" along the first arc as directed in the tutorial I get the following error window: "That menu item is not authorized for use in this application." I'm using VW 2008 Student Edition, is this an operation that is only possible with the full version? Quote Link to comment
MaxMich Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 I am using Student Landmark and get the same error. I have contacted the support and they told me to load the SP3 update which has made no difference. Please someone help as really need to use this functionality!!! Quote Link to comment

I have the educational VW 2008, SP3 build 88670, am using a Mac 10.4.11. I have tried the same command with other objects and paths on other workspaces, same error message. Quote Link to comment
Cris with no H Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 This certainly sounds like a bug in the ed version. Remember Duplicate Along Path as a command is new to VW2008. Check out VW2009; it should be fixed there. If you're still a student or educator...you can get a free, watermarked copy. Wait a little while though, so that NNA has time to get the newest training CD put together. Quote Link to comment
