CS1
I have used the framing member tool to create some modelled beams. I have also used the floor tool. The beams and floor are all in the same plane. When I cut a sectional viewport through the floor the beams are not visible. The bits of the beam that extend past the floor are visible but the parts of the beams that occupy the same space as the floor do not. This makes sense since the floor is solid white fill. I have done a class override and made the floor have no fill, but makes no difference. Am I going about this the wrong way? Am I supposed to be able to do this? Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
1. Select the Viewport. 2. In the OI palette, Select the button, "Advanced Section Properties..." 3. Select the "Attributes" tab 4. Change "Merge Cross Sections" to "Separate Cross Sections" 5. Play with seeting of "Use Attribute of Original Objects", "Attribute Class" and "Nonstructural Class:" to get the graphic results you want. Quote Link to comment
