thinkbuild
Greetings all. I've got an image which I put in the drawing via absolute path reference. I'd like to put it "inside" the file now, because I keep moving the file around, etc. Is there a way to put it "inside" the drawing? Or do I have to delete, re-import (not as reference) and replace it? Looking forward to your answer(s). Quote Link to comment
brudgers
In outline (actual menu commands may be different) In the navigation pallet, click on the reference and select "delete." You will be offered the option to complete remove it or to import it. Select import. It's not intuitive since you have to select "delete" but that's how it works. Quote Link to comment
thinkbuild
Dear brudgers, Thanks so much! I agree, it is not in the least bit intuitive. Perhaps this menu item should be called: "Change/Remove Reference" or something, which gives a bit of a hint of the dialog box hidden behind it.... But, it works! best and thanks to you, Quote Link to comment
brudgers
Glad to help. You're deleting the "reference" not the reference so to speak...so it makes a bit of sense. But on the face of it, it looks a little dangerous. Quote Link to comment
