liberian
Is there anybody who used the landmark learning series training CD? Is it worth buying it? It was offered to me alongside the vw landmark. What other training sources did you use to tame the software? Many thanks. Quote Link to comment
Thom
Better off investing in Jonathan Pickup's training materials. Much better written and helpful. Disclaimer: I am not in the employ of Mr. Pickup. Just a happy user. Quote Link to comment
liberian
Thom, thanks. With no previous knowledge of vw, do you think the landmark training manual would be sufficiant or is it neccesary to go through the essential tutorial manual for vw first? Quote Link to comment
monkey
it depends on whether you have used any other CAD software, if you have then you should be able to pick up the basics of VW pretty quickly. The help menu on VW is very useful, but as Thom said, jonathans manuals are the best place to start, they are step by step and include screen shots and videos, basically cover everything you need to know. Thom
Skip the VW's stuff and go straight to Jonathan's stuff. I would go through the basics first as there are several setup and foundational issues that will help you understand how VW work's. Jonathan can also provide online training over the web which is very helpful. I will be working with him this week on some of my weaknesses. Quote Link to comment
liberian
Thom, Monkey - thanks. I think I'll go for Jonathan's manuals, both the vw basics and the landmark and see how it goes. Quote Link to comment
