bhagood
Hello- I posted this a couple of years ago, but hope there may be some new changes: I have a friend using CAD, and he sends over drawings with 3-d, perspective drawings, all dimensioned accurately. He says that it is done in the viewport with the dimensioning tool. However, when I try to pull a dimension in Vectorworks(2008) on a 3-d object, it does not work. Is there a special tool to do this with? Many thanks! Edited May 29, 2008 by bhagood Quote Link to comment
RonMan
3D dimensions are one of the most requested features for Vectorworks. There are tricks (search the archives) that will allow you to do some things, but there is no tools for 3D dimensions. RonMan Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
There is a plug-in by Bob Wagner at Vector Depot which converts dimensions into 3D objects: http://www.vectordepot.com/plug-ins/ Quote Link to comment
