Corrupt files

Hey, I just installed VectorWorks 11.5 on our new imac 3.0 seemingly without a problem. BUT after I saved the first thing I worked on (an imported cad file) the next time I opened it the whole thing was shaded with tiny dots, lines and weird shapes! Now the entire application is corrupt with shading of different kinds all over the place. I am seriously concerned that this will spread into other applications and don't know what to do. Please help.

Guessing that your operating system is Leopard, VectorWorks 11 will not run on it. The oldest version of VectorWorks that will run on Leopard is 12.5.3.

Yes, it is Leopard. How do I uninstall the old VectorWorks?

A Mac person will have to answer that.

Just drag the VectorWorks 11.5 folder from the Applications folder to the Trash and Empty the Trash.

If you really want to go deep (though there is no need), you can go into your Users Folder:Library:Preferences and delete the VectorWorks 11 Prefs.

There is no chance of the display problems contaminating other applications.
