nicoloco
On a current project, we have been asked by a co-ordinating architect to issue our drawings in DWF format instead of DWG or PDF. We're working as part of a large team, most of whom are on PCs running Autocad. Is there anyway to create DWF files from Vectorworks (either directly or with a 3rd party plug-in)? Failing that, is there a program we could run on Windows XP (shudder) under VMWare Fusion in order to convert Vectorworks files (or DWGs?) to DWF? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
You can download DWG TrueView from AutoDesk for free. It will publish the .dwg to .dwf. This is Windows only. Quote Link to comment

Ray Libby
I'm not sure I understand, it will create .dwf (Design Web Format), an Autodesk created file format. Quote Link to comment
ionw
I didn't state my point very well did I? oops What I meant to point out was that what Ray was saying was the answer to the problem. a .dwg to .dwf converter would give you a Design Web Format file because that is what a .dwf was. Sorry for confusing the issue. Quote Link to comment
