2D Colour Rendering

I am unable to colour a planting plan. I cannot colour fill any of the garden detail. How do I add colour to the plant symbols for 2D rendering. Thanks.

Edit the Classes of the Symbol and/or directly edit the Symbol.

Enter the symbol editing mode the same way you edit a group; menu bar: modify>edit symbol or keyboard: command>[

If you've got VW2008, you can double click on the plant and a dialog box will ask if you want to edit the 2D or 3D component. Choose 2D and go to it. I often find nothing appears there, it's somewhere far away from 0,0, and I have to click the zoom on 'fit to objects' to find it.

If you've got 12.5, you should be able to give the symbol a fill in the definitions dialog box.
