Layer Linking

Recommended Posts

Hi

I don't think that is what tesseract wanted. I think he (and I) would like to know how can you tell which layers are linked in a layer link (without having to write them down when originaly making the layerlink) and then delete one or more of the linked layers and add one or more other layers

ie what I would like is to be able to fully edit the layerlink ... some of the drawings i work on have 50+ layers and when I return to an old drawing I have trouble trying to remember which layers were used on a layerlink

cheers

Klaus

tesseract:

Perhaps what you might want to try is checking the Object Info Palette, it tells you what layer is being linked, per object. If you have all selected then it will not, but you can edit selection and use the buttons to move forward, backward and highlight links.

You can then unlock and delete a selected layer.
