CS1
In a worksheet I can simpy type an equation to give me the area of a "floor" on a certain layer. Example: =AREA(((INSYMBOL & INOBJECT & INVIEWPORT & (L='Isometrics') & (ST=FLOOR)))) (L='Isometrics') being the layer Is there a way to have one worksheet that when inserted on each layer show the area floors on that active layer only? Maybe something like =AREA(((INSYMBOL & INOBJECT & INVIEWPORT & (L='ACTIVE LAYER') & (ST=FLOOR)))) Quote Link to comment
CS1
The reason being with the original method above, if I change my layer names I have to change all the equation fields in each worksheet (I could use the find replace text tool), and I have to have either one worksheet with a data field that shows all layers or a seperate worksheet for each layer. islandmon
Keeping in mind that the Worksheet container is a Global Container and not specific to any given Layer container. Quote Link to comment
CS1
Thanks that makes sense. I have in the meantime found a way to achieve basically what I want it to do. Under the "critera section" in the worksheet you can set it to pick up the "visibilty" of certain classes. Quote Link to comment
