cross-drawing copy/paste bug?

Recommended Posts

You may want to see if the objects are on the same layer and class as well. If not try adjusting the layerscales so they are the same on all layers. You should also see if these objects are locked. try a select all and go to the edit menu and click unlock if available. After these steps you should be able to manipulate your objects for copy/paste.

Goodluck.

This may be your problem:

Are you pasting the object into a file with a saved sheet selected? If you copy an object with a class and paste it into a drawing that has that class turned off, the object will be visible and selectable. Once you have clicked elsewhere (deselecting the object), it will still be visible but no longer selectable. If you again select the saved sheet that has the class turned off, the object will become invisible. If you make the class visible, the object will reappear.

Hope this helps.
