JeffPPI
Hi all I'm trying to insert a human figure. I have already set all the attributes and custom positioning and not had a problem doing so. My problem is when I tell VW to render(Final Quality), all it gives me is a gray figure, no matter what the attributes I set were. I have tried rendering in the window as I edit the attributes, but I can't get VW to render anything other than a gray figure. I don't have any custom lights on, but this hasn't hampered figure rendering on past drawings I've done. Anybody encounter/solve this problem before? Any help would be appreciated. I'm running 2008 Design on Windows XP. TIA Jeff Edited May 5, 2008 by JeffPPI Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You probably have the figure in a class with a texture applied to the "Other" tab and it is rendering the entire figure with the texture. Pat Quote Link to comment
JeffPPI
the class was set to use "other texture" at creation I modified the class to not do that, but that didn't help. I then created a new class using nothing at creation and tried again, but with the same gray result. thanks Quote Link to comment
JeffPPI
interesting point: I copied and pasted a human figure from another drawing, and it works just fine. also, on the one that works, in Wireframe rendering, the colors of the lines matcht he colors of the attributes(ie, shirt's purple, pants are black) but the ones that stay gray, their lines are all the same color. Is there a setting I'm missing? As far as I know, I created them the same way, witht he same attributes. thanks Quote Link to comment
