Clive Thomas
I have problems with very slow redraw times when I've imported a B/W .tif image file into a Vector Works drawing on my 800 Mhz PC. The same problem doesn't occur when using a 400Mhz G3 Power Mac. Any suggestions as to a solution Quote Link to comment
Guest
Clive: This could be caused by the amount of memory you have built into your Video Card, other programs running in the background of Windows. To see what is running in the background of Windows 95 and 98, press ctl+alt+del at the same time. This will bring up your Task Monitor. A listing of programs "running" will be displayed. Many times even though a program is not visibly running it is reserving memory for them. Also, pending on how much built in memory you have, virtual memory settings, type of video card, age of video driver, etc. will determine how long it will take to render objects ------------------ Brian O Nemetschek North America Technical Support Specialist Quote Link to comment
