gschoenthal Posted November 30, 2000 Share Posted November 30, 2000 When I import smaller dwg (AutoCAD LT 98) files (? 25K) with multiple layers everything works fine and all the objects/symbols come thru in the appropriate layer with the appropriate colors. When I import larger dwg (AutoCAD LT 98) files (> 200K) with multiple layers all the objects/symbols come thru in the same (0 layer) layer. Is there a way to work around or fix this? CADD Nark Posted December 11, 2000 Share Posted December 11, 2000 you aren't dong anything wrong. i would suggest that when you bring in as ACAD dwg, set it to convert the ACAD layers to VW classes. i do this daily and find it to be very consistant and reliable. Quote Link to comment
