Thomas Ames
Hi, I've got two buildings, A and B, each one with its own floor, walls, and roof layers. These are linked to two model layers, "linked model A" and "linked model B". I can see these models with Show Others. No problem here. Then I tried linking (create layer link) the two models to a final model layer. The handles (locked or unlocked) for the two linked models show up, but no views... nothing... invisible. The scales are the same. This layer is at the top of the layer stack. It its visibility is Normal. It is Active. I'm stumped. Is there something simple that I'm forgetting? Thanks. JoarL
Is the drawing 2D? There is a "display 2D objects" (or something like that) checkbox in the create layer link dialog, if this isn?t marked only 3D objects will appear. JoarL Quote Link to comment
Thomas Ames
Hi JorL, Nope, I haven't checked that 2D box. All of these layers are 3D. Thanks for the suggestion though. Quote Link to comment
Geoff Briggs
As far as I know you cannot link a linked layer. Quote Link to comment
