Don@Black Dog
When generating elevations (and some flyovers) in 2008, I am getting random lines such as windows in perpendicular or pposite walls, roof lines and random things beyond the elevation plane. Is this happening to others and if so, is there a setting I don't know? I have the background as openGL and foreground as hidden line. Thanks. PS, how can I inset a jpeg or other example image? Benson Shaw
Hi, Don - Insert an image into your post with the File Manager. Access by clicking the blue "File Manager" link at the bottom of the New Topic window, and in the windows resulting from Edit and Reply buttons at the bottom of any post. File manager is not available in the Quick Reply window visible at bottom of every forum thread. -B Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
Thanks for the suggestion. This is typical, where the windows in the adjacent or opposite walls show through. Back ground: Open GL with lines, foreground, Hidden line. In this case with quick sketch, but it doesn't matter. (I have atttached a file, but it doesnt show in preview). Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Sometimes, but not always, this problem will go away if you UPDATE the viewport again (sometimes updating more than once works). If it persists I suggest sending the file to bugsubmit... Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
Thanks, Peter. The updates do not work or, rather, a line changes here or there. I have submtted to Tech, and will do so to bugsubmit. Anyone else see have this problem? It happens on different files. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Don, quick question: Are you running the very latest updated version (SP2,83388)? Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Don, Check your layer opacity/transparency levels. It looks like they are set below 100%, meaning they are NOT full opaque. If this is no the problem, then file a bug. Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
Thanks for the reply. All my transparency (I assume you mean opacity) levels are 100%, rendering quality is high, layer dpi is 300. Pete, I will check on the version. Thanks for pointing it out. Quote Link to comment
