newbie question-curved double lines

the polygon tool draws a double line, but linear; how to draw CURVED double lines?

and what are you trying to draw

i.e. walls

VW 10. I'm trying to draw a double line, both straight and curved.....to be a section thru a window showing the thin cavity. Rather than drawing an offset all the time.

The double polygon tool does alot, but I need to join the cavities together sometimes; to intersect, leaving an open break. And how to draw curves w/ the polygon tool?

Use the wall tool?

Use the Polyline tool. It will allow you to toggle between curved and linear lines (using the mode bar) on the fly. You can then offset the whole linear and curved polyline (since it's one object). In the event that you only want to offset a portion of the original object, just offset the whole element and then trim it accordingly.
