Imported class display problem

I am having a problem with classes imported from Autocad. When I set the graphic attributes of the class, they don't display correctly in the drawing. If I set the background fill to white, a new drawn object will be filled with black. I can change it in the attributes palette, but it would be nice for the new object to be displayed correctly in the first place. I have "Use at creation" checked. If I delete the class and manually recreate it, everything displays correctly.

I have a similar problem though it seems to occur after a drawing has been opened and saved in pc version of Vworks. The class settings get corrupted and I can't switch them back through the class setting dialogue box. really boring this one.

Mine also starts choosing new colour fills for me and telling me its the class default setting. The class settings dialogue box shows the correct setting - with "Use at creation" selected. The attributes palette gets it wrong.
