ctatnall Posted November 8, 2000 Share Posted November 8, 2000 Hi. I work in a small architectural firm that uses VectorWorks to create our plans. We frequently use the font 'N Helevtica Narrow' because it is fairly narrow so that you can fit a lot into a small area, but the font is clear enough after printing that it reproduces well (for blueprints, xeroxes, etc.). However, this font is creating problems since it appears differently (both on the screen and when printed/plotted) depending on what zoom level the text was written in. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Also, does anyone else use this font? (We don't know where the font came from and I can't find it on any disk or on the web.) Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted November 8, 2000 Share Posted November 8, 2000 ctatnall: IF you are using a Mac, Check the print setup to verify that the Post Script option of substitue non-post script fonts is deselected. Furthermore, some true type fonts (especially if they were created by Adobe Type Manager) have a tendancy to not work very well within VectorWorks.
