But assuming your are already familiar with layer stacking, layer linking, extrusions, DTM, 3D mesh, hybrid symbols, and general 3D modeling... For "a set of 3D buildings" like multi-unit housing, I've found it best to create 2D/3D *symbols* of each unit type, paste onto new document, then ungroup and add the building roofs. Don't mess with workgroup referencing for 3D buildings -- plural. If you're just dealing with a detached garage and house, I would suggest simply separating by classes! ------------------ Kenneth Quote Link to comment
