eegriega
hi i have an acer 7520 laptop and am having problems running vectorworks 2008 on it. everything is alright until about 45 minutes into a session, when everything slows right down and i have to save my work, shut down and restart vectorworks. The laptop spec is as follows: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor TK-55 1.8 Ghz, 80 gb hard drive, 2gb ram, 32 bit Operating System running Windows Vista Home Premium Nvidia Geforce 7000M graphics card Is this a problem with windows vista? or maybe the graphics card isn't good enough or is the laptop i'm using not fast enough to cope with vectorworks? i have just upgraded the ram from 1 gb to 2 gb, thinking that this might help, but it hasn't really made much difference. i look forward to hearing from you Quote Link to comment

SoHo IT
Did this solve your problem? I am having a similar problem with really slow rendering on my desktop. - (20minutes sometimes) I also have 2GB of RAM, running winXP Pro, as local administrator, with ATI RADEON X1950 Pro graphics card. And will the SP2 work for my UK version. rgds Quote Link to comment
