mtcronin
Ok here is the exact error message that all the users are getting with this problem. Title: VectorWorks Message: -36 Disk i/o error Options: Ok We run an Ethernet Microsoft NT 4.0 SP6 network with Win98 systems with 384 Megs of memory. The users save their files to a shared folder on the network, which they all have Full Control over. Has only one came across this problem, and if so how did you fix it?? Let me know PLEASE!!.. :-) ------------------ The only stupid question is the one that you do not ask. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Attempt mapping the network drive, verify no other programs such as a document handling/routing program is running, or Anti-Virus/System Tools program is running, and use shorter file names with fewer path changes or shorter folder names there too. These possibilities could cause a potential problem although we save across the network all the time here at Nemetschek, NA. ------------------ Brian O Nemetschek North America Technical Support Specialist Quote Link to comment
