Does anyone know how I can get the "object name" for an object to be exported along with the all the rest of a Record Format's fields for the same object when I choose "Export Worksheet"? In the "Object Info" pallet for an object, I can name the object in the first field of a record format, but when I choose "Export Worksheet", the data in that field does not get exported to the worksheet. Is this an oversight in Vectorworks or am I missing something? HELP and THANKS! -Mike Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Hugues Posted March 18, 2008 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 18, 2008 Mike, the object name in the Object Info Palette is not part of the Record Format. If the names need to be saved in a record, you can edit the record formats and add a field for that. If all you need is having them listed in a worksheet, you can add a worksheet column and type "=N" (without the quotes) in the database header. Hope it helps. Hugues NNA Quote Link to comment
