christian
I have a presentation to do. I need to show a collection of furniture. Each of the models is rendered in Open GL and I will need to be able to ?fly? around them. I am familiar with all the tools, however I suspect that I will have to do this on a relatively low specification PC. Has anybody got any suggestions as how I might optimise the files and, or models to make the process as smooth as possible so the client doesn?t spend most of their time staring at Vector works while it re-renders? CipesDesign
Christian, You should probably use the "create animation" command. Look in the manual for the various settings and choices. Play around with very short animations first. You will end up with QT movie files which are very small compared to the parent VW files. Hope this helps! Peter Quote Link to comment
nic
Yeah Peter is right, creating an animation before the presentation is your best option. Allow yourself as much time as you can beforehand to play around with the Create Animation tool as it takes a bit of getting used to. Keep them as short as you can, as they do take a while to render into a movie and take up a far bit of space. Quote Link to comment
