Viewport Edit Design Layer -Display Using Viewport Attributes

Recommended Posts

I am having the following problem.

I have a viewport with several layers and classes turned on.

I want to edit one of the design layers displayed in the viewport and still see the classes and layers visible in the viewport.

...Simple

I double click on the viewport, tick the box that says

"Display using viewport attributes" (Indicates whether the design layer will be displayed with the viewport's class and layer visibilities, view orientation, projection, render mode and rotation (for viewports with top/plan or top/orthagnonal view).).

I find that the layer visibilities are the same but the visible classes in no way resemble what I have visible in my viewport. I have checked that all the Design layers are at the same scale and view.

What am I doing wrong?
