MikeB
I?m having a screen regen dilemma. I have drawn some bricks and concrete blocks in plan using poly lines. If I use associative hatch my screen regen time is excruciatingly long. If I use static hatch screen regen is instant but it inflates the file size. I normally use and prefer using associative hatch but it is really awful in this situation. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just how it works. I have a G4 400 with 256 mb ram, and a 16 mb vidio card. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest
Mike, The way the two hatches are drawn do differ. Internal calculations on the fly vs. objects. This shouldn't be causing the effect you describe unless there are a large number of these associative hatches on the drawing. If the regen time is terribly excessive for you, a possibility is to conver the hatch to lines (which can be grouped if need be for convenience). Could you send us a file that demonstrates what you are experiencing? It would help us in seeing what you are seeing. Please include the usual information. http://www.nemetschek.net/support/contact.html ------------------ Brian O Nemetschek North America Technical Support Specialist [This message has been edited by Brian O (edited 10-19-2000).] Quote Link to comment
