Michelle
I have been dealing with the ongoing problem of trying to change a stair width by getting the error message that my dimensions are not acceptable and can go no further.(it happens when I try to change the width). I even try putting it in inches and that does not work. What am I missing? I keep needing to import old stairs from other drawings. I am using 12.5 and have XP Thanks a million! Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted March 3, 2008 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 3, 2008 Try entering the dimension in your document units but with no unit mark. Quote Link to comment
Michelle
I am not sure what you mean..I am trying to enter the size (width of tread) in the flights and platforms tab in the stair setting. nothing works- the error message says "cannot close dialog box with an invalid number" it seems any number other than the one thats already in there is invalid. Thank you for trying to help! I fear I am missing something obvious (sorry if that is so!) Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted March 7, 2008 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 7, 2008 can you post a screenshot of your flights and platforms dialog? I'd try and duplicate your settings to see if I could reproduce the problem. Quote Link to comment
