Save Time Not Accurate

When I save I VW08 file and then hover over the file in my folder (Windows XP) the "date modified" is out by several hours.

For example the windows clock on the bottom right hand corner says 11:00am when I save, I can then hover over the saved VW08 file and it says it was saved at 3:18am or something.

I am in New Zealand and think we are roughly 18hours ahead of North America, the difference in time doesnt seem to be a reflection of this. I thought that may have been the problem.

I have the autosave feature setup so it saves the last 10 files (5min intervals).

When VW does the autosave its saves a 14digit number after the file name eg(20080320114630) 2008/03/20 11:46:30.

This time and date are accurate but when I hover over the file it says it was saved at 2008/03/20 19:33

I just set mine to ask me to save every 15 operations.

I like that option better.

It's better, and easier in my view, to remember what I did the last 15 steps not what I did in the last 15 mins.

You are looking at the correct date/time ? There are a number od date/times which, depending on the behaviour of the file and software may be more accurate. Date created/ date modified/ date last saved etc etc.
