mlau Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Hello - I'm using a workgroup reference of a site survey in a building project in VW 12.5. The survey file has many classes assigned by the surveyor that are helpful to keep when using the WGR to create viewports in my building file. Is there a fast method to place a prefix in front of all the class names that are from the referenced survey such as "S-imported class name" or "SITE-imported class name"? How do I manage to keep WGR classes seperate yet still usable in a file? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 when you import file in VectorWorks 2008 there is now an option to add a Prefix to all DXF layers. But this not available in VectorWorks 12. There might be a 3rd party utility that someone has.. Quote Link to comment

Prefix Classes A menu item to rename all classes in the drawing with a user selected prefix by Patrick Higgins VW 11.5 or higher. prefix classes Quote Link to comment
